Bearly Art is sponsoring Cards for Cubs, a non-profit organization hosting the annual Card-a-Thon!

Calling all Card Makers and Creative Crafters

Feeling inspired to make a difference this March?

Cards for Cubs is currently needing all of the card donations they can get. All through March, drop off your handcrafted cards for Cards For Cubs at Nina's Notions, so that foster agencies around the US can get them into the hands of kids in foster care.

CFC is currently accepting birthday cards and encouragement cards to remind each child that they are important and loved. Leave cards blank inside so case workers or foster families can write personalized notes to the kids in their care.

Reaching for 100,000 Cards
Wondering Why? ⏬
We aim to bring 100,000 handmade cards for the 100,000 Young People who enter foster care in the United States every year!

Our Guidelines for Cards
Curious about Cards for Cubs?
  • Cards for Cubs is a registered, non-profit organization aiming to support and encourage young people
in foster care through uplifting, handmade cards reminding them that they are not alone.
  • We depend on donors like you for your unique and inspiring cards. We send all donated cards to foster agencies who help get our cards into the hands of the young people in their care.
  • Caseworkers, who know the child personally use our handcrafted cards to write encouraging notes as they enter, or return, to the foster system.
  • A card may mean the world to a child, who is working through integrating with a foster family, working on reunification with their biological family, or experiencing adoption.
  • Let’s work together to place a card in the hand of every young person in the United States foster care to remind them they are loved and cherished
